Whatever the market conditions may be for your business, better processes are an improvement lever that is within your organization's control.
On a similar theme, but focused on the private equity space, I also recommend “Accelerating Private Equity Results with Operational Excellence,” that I co-authored with Jeff Kahne. Process improvement can lead to breakthrough results, often without a significant investment in technology.
