Leveraging a background in financial accounting, Marshall Ariza’s expertise is drawn from decades of hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and New Product Development. He works closely with a variety of clients to design, plan, and implement process improvements that result in competitive repositioning in the market.
Marshall’s career has afforded him the opportunity to work in numerous industries such as manufacturing, consumer products, food service, medical testing, insurance, and airline industries. He has substantial experience working in finance and accounting at both the corporate and plant level. He also has demonstrated experience in supply chain, material planning, database management, and ERP.
Previous consulting work includes performing financial valuation and reasonability tests on acquisition/divestiture targets for several units of a technology-based manufacturing company. Prior to Firefly Consulting, career highlights include earning project recognition from the Secretary of the Navy for his work in assisting a team to develop an agile “rapid response process,” reducing the time required to field critical material needs to frontline warfighters by 50%.
Marshall has trained over 1100 executive leaders and 1600 Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts in Lean Six Sigma and Design for Lean Six Sigma methodologies around the world. He is routinely recognized for his ability to effectively apply Lean Six Sigma tools to projects and develop innovative new applications for these tools.
