Darrel Whiteley

Darrel has worked in process improvement for over 20 years. His industry experience includes chemical, automotive, banking, insurance, logistics, semiconductors, pulp and paper, defense, metals, printing, electronics, food, software, and healthcare.  He possesses a strong background working in capital planning, project management, continuous and batch manufacturing, transactional process improvement, and inventory management.

He is a Master Black Belt, Lean Master, and Kaizen expert, and has trained and coached over 900 practitioners across the world. Previous accomplishments include deploying Operational Excellence at a $3B process industry company, yielding over $25M in savings over the 2-year deployment. Within that deployment, his projects included every function from planning to sales.

Previously, Darrel was a director with George Group Consulting, and Tech Center manager at Dow Chemical. Additionally, he holds both the US and international patents for the Hydrogenolysis of Methyl Chlorosilane Direct Process Residue.
